The temperature for washing blouses depends on the material they're made of. Always check the label in your blouse first. Here are some general tips in case you've cut the label out. Wash blouses made of cotton, linen, polyester, lyocell and modal at 40 degrees to keep the color looking good. Acrylic, viscose and polyamide are heat-sensitive, so it's best to wash them at 30 degrees max. A silk blouse can be hand-washed in lukewarm water or taken to the dry cleaner's. With a blend of different fabrics, always go by the most delicate one.
