Layering is the way to get through autumn in style and comfort. Start with a basic T-shirt or shirt and add a warm knit or cardigan. Finish your outfit with a gilet, an oversized blazer or a long coat. Combine different materials and textures, such as wool, denim and fleece, for a playful look. Bonus? You can easily take off a layer when it gets a bit warmer.
This autumn and winter, it's all about comfortable silhouettes and timeless designs. Think oversized wool coats, checked overshirts, bomber jackets and padded jackets. Fleece and corduroy are also right at home. Color-wise, we're seeing lots of dark blue, chocolate brown, burgundy and shades of green. Every single one is easy to pair with your favorite jeans.
A pair of straight-leg jeans is a versatile favorite in autumn and winter too. Pair them with a warm knitted jumper and a short puffer jacket for a relaxed outfit. Want to dress up a little? Then go for a shirt, cardigan and an oversized blazer. Sneakers give a casual vibe, while boots add a tougher edge to your look. Play with proportions: a shorter jacket or a jumper tucked in at the front nicely balances your silhouette.
Warm, deep colors set the tone this season. Burgundy , chocolate brown, shades of green and navy are true autumn favorites. Checks and stripes are everywhere too, from checked blazers to striped knitwear. Combine different shades from the same color palette for a calm look, or add a bold pattern to give your outfit that little something extra.
